"A ridiculous medical system that gives no empowerment to the individual to take care of their own health will become the mandated norm."

Obamacare to usher in 100 to 400 percent insurance rate increases across the board

Seventeen of the nation's largest insurance companies are now reporting that insurance premiums are set to spike anywhere from 100 percent to 400 percent for many Americans in 2014. These insurance companies, including the likes of Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and the Kaiser Foundation have provided the House Commerce Committee with a new report that links the new Obamacare regulations, policies, and taxes to cause a substantial "rate shock" for many. The people who are expected to take the biggest hit are young healthy individuals who purchase their own health insurance.

Small businesses may see 50 to 100 percent increases in premiums

A health care plan that punishes success and healthy people is the most backward and degenerate idea ever mandated.

The report to the house committee shows that an average premium increase for small group markets will range from 50 to 100 percent. One insurer concluded that "nearly all states will see premium increases."

A new customer in small group market will typically see the standard average yearly rate jump from "$1,896 to $3,708 - a $1,812 cost increase."

To make matters worse, insurers told the panel that premiums are also expected to rise from 4 to 8 percent based on the new insurance tax alone. Other taxes, including the medical device tax, will only make matters worse.

Independent, healthy young people hit the hardest

The steepest insurance hikes will hit healthy, young people who buy insurance on their own rather than through an employer. Newly mandated customers in the individual market will likely see rates 96 percent higher under Obamacare. This group includes many 27-year-olds who will be coming off their parent's insurance coverage. This average doesn't even consider mandated benefits and age rating that will likely cause up to 413 percent rate hikes in some cases! One example proposed by insurers showed that a young, healthy male adult could see a jump from $51 a month to $144 - a 180 percent increase!

Still affected, but to a lesser degree, will be large group coverage plans run by large companies. These rates are expected to jump 15 to 25 percent.

Federal subsidies may soften the blow for families making up to 400 percent of the federal poverty level, but these subsidies won't prevent rates from rising with the costs of inflation and widening "care."

Entitlement mindset destroying future generations

By enabling adults to stay on their parent's plans until the age of 26, Obamacare seems to be looking out for young people. In reality, this idea teaches young people to be dependent instead of being responsible for their own health. This idea discourages young people from being productive, healthy individuals. This is an entitlement mindset that will leak into all walks of life.

Who benefits then?

In the long run, nobody benefits with Obamacare. It may seem that some people will receive lower costs for health insurance, but in the end, these people will never learn the responsibility of taking care of their own health. They will become even bigger slaves to a sick system of "health" care.

That's because at the heart of Obamacare is entitlement. Before the law, some people faced higher out-of-pocket costs, because they were less-healthy, or higher risk individuals. Now, under Obamacare, these individuals become entitled to insurance coverage, forcing healthier people to absorb the costs.

This is where the mandate comes in. By mandating everyone to pay into the system, the government forces healthy, more responsible individuals to pay for the failing system's pharmaceutical drug system. By collecting penalty money from most everyone, the government can continue funding a system of redistribution of wealth and mass pharmaceutical drugging.

The way forward

The future of health insurance in the United States could become a universal, single payer system, abolishing all individual, business, and state insurance plans. Insurance companies and businesses will likely fold under all the pressure of the new taxes, regulations and increased costs from Obamacare. Naturopathic doctors will be left in the underground, even though a holistic approach to health care is the solution to most illness in the world.

A ridiculous medical system that gives no empowerment to the individual to take care of their own health will become the mandated norm. One giant expansion of the pharmaceutical industry will be forced onto everyone, and a mutilating surgical response to health problems will be doctrine.

Individuals, unable to afford health insurance, may cry out for liberty and health truths, or they may submit to the government expansion. The IRS will continue to be the hit man for the government, forcing people to choke up a set amount of money for their "free" health care.

For the next few years, though, people who plan on purchasing health insurance should prepare themselves for financial hardship, as rates skyrocket 100 to 400 percent. The pressure to bring in a single payer system will be imminent.

For those who want to remain free and healthy, it will be wise to ditch the system altogether and find health care in detoxifying, utilizing whole food nutrition, and making wiser lifestyle choices.
